About Me

My name is Kyle Benkarski, and I am the founder of Bare Bones Sports Performance. My passion for the weight room and strength and conditioning started with the Bow-Flex in the basement of my childhood home and seeing its immediate impact on my wrestling record. It became obvious that a little bit more strength could lead to a lot more success. I followed the training through college into the end of my wrestling career and have since made it a never-ending pursuit. My passion for coaching comes from watching my athletes achieve their goals. Whether it’s the smile after the first dunk, the excited text saying that they made the team, or the eagerness to show off a move from a play in their most recent game.

Through my career I have coached athletes from the middle school level up to professional athletes. My training programs have led athletes through year-long competitive schedules while staying injury free and consistently increasing key performance indicators. I have certifications from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association, USA Weightlifting, the Titleist Performance Institute, and more organizations aimed at athletic performance. I am a believer that through consistent training any level of athletic performance is achievable. So let’s start working and see how far past your goals we can make it.
